SeeedStudio Grove Touch Sensor

The Grove Touch Sensor v1.1 utilizes the TTP223-B touch detector IC to measure the capacitance of a metallic pad and detect changes in capacitance when a finger is touched near it. This technology allows the sensor to function as a touch button, similar to the touch screens of iPhones.

Capacitive Touch Sensor

• Avoid Excessive Force: Avoid applying excessive force when using the touch sensor to prevent damage.

• Position Carefully: Carefully position the touch sensor to make it unnoticeable and protect it with special materials for waterproofing.

• Min: 2 V,
• Max: 5.5 V

• Method: Connect the Grove Touch Sensor to one of the input ports on your Arduino using a cable (not supplied). No soldering is required.
