Working Principle

Description

The YZC-133 Weighing Load Cell Sensor operates based on the strain gauge method. It converts pressure (force) into an electrical signal by measuring the change in electrical resistance in response to strain applied to the sensor. This change is detected and processed by a Wheatstone bridge circuit within the load cell.

Dos And Donts

Donts

  • Avoid Pressure On Plastic Cover: Do not directly push on the white plastic cover part of the sensor to avoid damage.,
  • Prevent Overloading: Do not apply more than 20 kg of load to prevent damage and ensure accuracy.,
  • Avoid Exposure To Extreme Conditions: Do not expose the load cell to conditions outside its operating temperature range of -20 to 65°C and ensure it is protected from water and dust as per its IP65 rating.

Dos

  • Connect Correctly: Ensure that the load cell wires are correctly connected to the HX711 module based on their color, then connect the DAT (Data) pin to Arduino Analog pin A1 and the CLK (Clock) pin to Arduino Analog pin A0.,
  • Provide Proper Voltage: Provide a driving voltage between 5-10V to ensure accurate functioning of the load cell.,
  • Mount Properly: Fix one end of the load cell through the screw hole and leave the other end in a floating state, ensuring the direction of gravitational force is correct as indicated.
