Dos And Donts

Donts

  • Avoid Using Multiple Devices On The Same Bus: Since the I2C address cannot be changed, do not use multiple AHT20 sensors on the same I2C bus.,
  • Do Not Expose To Extreme Conditions: Avoid exposing the sensor to conditions outside its operational range of -40 to 85 °C for temperature and 0 to 100% RH for humidity.,
  • Avoid Physical Stress: Do not subject the sensor to excessive force or pressure to prevent damage.

Dos

  • Use Appropriate Logic Level: Ensure that the logic level matches your microcontroller; the sensor supports both 3.3V and 5V.,
  • Check I2c Address: Verify the I2C address (0x38) is correct and not conflicting with other devices on the I2C bus.,
  • Implement Proper Error Handling: Handle potential I2C communication errors in your software to ensure robust operation.
Limits

Humidity Range

  • Range: 0 to 100 RH%,
  • Typical Accuracy: ±3 % over the entire range

Temperature Range

  • Range: -40 to 85 °C,
  • Typical Accuracy: ±1 °C over the entire range
How To Connect

Connection Guide

  • Power Requirements: Connect the sensor to a 3.3V or 5V power supply.,
  • Data Communication: Connect the I2C SDA and SCL lines to your microcontroller or Raspberry Pi board.,
  • No Soldering Required: Utilize the Molex PicoBlade connectors for easy connection without the need for soldering.
