Mikroe METHANE Click

Methane click carries an MQ-4 sensor for methane (CH4). The sensor's gas sensing layer is made of tin dioxide (SnO2), which has lower conductivity in clean air. As methane levels increase, the conductivity of the sensor also increases.

• Use Incorrect Power Supply: Do not use a power supply other than 5V as it is designed to operate solely with a 5V power supply.

• Calibrate The Sensor: Use the onboard potentiometer to adjust the load resistance for precise calibration.,
• Allow For Preheating: Ensure the sensor is powered up for 24 hours before use to reach the correct operating temperature.

• Description: The sensor can detect methane concentrations from 200 to 10000ppm.

• Description: The device should only be powered using a 5V supply.

• Description: Methane click communicates with the target board through the AN (OUT) mikroBUS line.,
• Steps: Connect the device to a compatible mikroBUS socket ensuring the power supply is set to 5V.
