The mmwave - 24GHz Microwave Radar Distance Sensor operates based on the transmission and reception of radio waves. It utilizes K-band millimeter wave ranging radar technology with Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) modulation. The sensor sends out microwaves and measures the distance to the surface of an object by receiving the reflected waves.
